BSG countdown thread

Yeah.. they're really great. That first pic of Katee isn't very flattering but the one of her on the bike is hot. I WOULD LET THEM DO CYLON EXPERIMENTS ON ME!

I'm glad she's growing it back.


But next time they do one of those photoshoots they need RACETRACK.

Katie and Tricia look hot, but Grace Park just looks like she has no shame. I swear you can see stubble in the pic of her on her own.

Anyway, this week's ep was my favourite so far thing season, it's really hotting up! I watched it again today just to see what I'd missed the first time. I agree Gaeta's singing was cheesy. It always is when characters on tv shows sing, because the actors playing them blatantly have had singing lessons. It just reminds you that you're watching a tv show and not real people. The fade out with him at the end was particularly cheesy, they should've ended it right when the basestar jumped.

Now that hybrid was told to jump before she was turned off, so when they switched her back on she just did what her last command was, so where were they trying to jump to?
 
P.S. Tyrol looks like Homer Simpson now.
 
oh.. good question about the jump thing. It didn't even cross my mind that she would have been carrying out the last command to jump.. but didn't Starbuck talk to her just before she was unplugged?
 
I think it was a reflex thing.
 
Another thing.. it seems that the Hybrids have a touch of prescience, so maybe she knew that Natalie had been shot and that it would lead to a huge conflict between the Cylon rebels and the humans. Maybe the Hybrid just did what she had to do to get a safe distance between the two. I don't know if Natalie is really dead, cause I think I saw her gasping in the previews, but the Galactica could jump to the hub and she could download. This would go against her wanting to die like humans, but she could always die some other day permanently.. after the Cylon-human alliance is more stable.

OMG I CAN'T WAIT TILL THE NEXT EPISODE I AM DYING ALSKDJFLSKJLKJ.
 
I reckon she's still alive too. She was still alive at the end of this week's episode and it wouldn't make sense to kill off such a powerful character so quickly (Tricia Helfer did another amazing job, sometimes I really do forget it's the same person playing all these Sixes). Whether she lives or not, I don't think the Cylons will be so angry with the Colonials, because it was Athena who did it. The Cylons will be pissed, but I think they'll recognise that even the Colonials don't understand why Athena did it.
 
Maybe the skinjobs will understand that it was Athena, but the Centurions are nuts!
 
They'll seek revenge. And how come no one drew a gun on Athena??
 
Cause Tigh told them to stand down... didn't he? Curse my shitty memory! If it comes on again tonight I'll watch it.
 
I don't know why they didn't shoot her, apart from loyalty and the fact that they probably thought they could talk her out of it.

Then again, maybe Tigh let her shoot Natalie to stop the Final Five being revealed, at least on a subconscious level.
 
Yeah, but Tigh has to know that Adama and Roslin have already decided to unbox the D'Ana's, so that would have been pointless. Actually, he was there for that meeting. But on the other hand, the shooting of Natalie will likely change their plans.

And Cassie, no BSG tonight. It's all a bunch of made-for-sci-fi channel drivel tonight. Grrrrrr......
 
oh.. well that sucks ass! SciFi channel has some really shitty original movies.

WTFs going on this week? No new BSG, no new Lost, no new Who!

Anyway, I'm still chuffed because I went to a con today where there was Edward James Olmos, Aaron Douglas, Alessandro Juliani (Gaeta) and Rekha Sharma (who's REAALLY HOT in real life!).

EJO revealed some things he probably wasn't supposed to. He said that very few people will make it to Earth, that the next few episodes will tear your heart out and stamp on it, and that the Final Five are definitely not cloned. There's only one copy of each. I'll post some pics later.

Well, he was definitely going a bit over the top in saying it was depressing. He said he recommended everyone not to watch it, which is something he's said before.
