The Panthers put veteran wide receiver Adam Thielen back on the active roster Tuesday, at the end of his 21-day practice window to return from injured reserve. He's missed the last seven games after suffering a hamstring injury while scoring a touchdown in the Week 3 win in Las Vegas. He was designated to return to practice on Oct. 23 and practiced for a week and a half, but hasn't been on the field since the Thursday of Week 9. If they didn't activate him today, he'd have remained on IR for the rest of the season. The 34-year-old Thielen had eight catches for 109 yards and a touchdown in the first three games.
