Seriously tho, the power outages are heading this way. I don't think I will still have power when chat time starts. JUST FYI.
 
OKAY THERE IS GOOD NEWS!! It is predicted to be category 1 when it gets here. When I woke up this morning (and for most of the day) they were predicting cat 3. I CAN SURVIVE CATEGORY 1.

I'm thinking it is too -- I had other Florida friends on FB saying they lost their power as early as last evening.

It's 6AM now -- I hope she and her family got some sleep.

The number she gave me is a landline -- I don't know if she has a cellphone, so if the power's out, I guess internet would be a no-go for her, unless she borrows one.
 
Power is out all over the place near where she is. I have been in contact with my friends in Clearwater and St. Pete, seems like the damage there wasn't too bad so hopefully Cassie's place is the same.
