casting TrollKingdom: The Flick

WHAT!?

I'm not that old or that unattractive, try again.

Set him straight BDM.

He's waaaaaay off! Laker_Girl looks like a more attractive Jessica Simpson. She has nicer cheekbones and a better body, though. Her lil' chin cleft looks like Jessica's, though.

So, yeah, Laker_Girl is like a hotter version of Jessica Simpson. :)

Hmmm...

Either of you familiar with Hudson Leick?

What about Mirah?

Love Child?

I'll add these two, as well as DarthSikle & dogbert, to the "Mea Culpa" list, and add that I don't really know enough about them for an accurate casting. Who would you pick?

Oh, and...

Friday - Yeardley Smith

You have no idea how happy it makes me to find a place for DJQ in this cinematic masterpiece --thank you times infinity!

Yeah, as far as personality and looks Rommie totally meets the requirement.

If there were a way to punk-ify and/or goth-ify Catherine Bell, would it work?

Less goth, more southern badass. Yeah, she could work. She's got the right tits for the job. It's the personality that's hard to match. Or better yet, and I just thought of this, Kari Wuhrer would be perfect!

I had something of an epiphany as I was agonizing over who would play you in particular. I was getting hung up on everyone's "look", and with you being one of the more visible members here, was having a hell of a time coming up with someone at least reasonably well-known that matched your frankly babyfaced demeanor (before this pisses you off, keep reading). Finally I realized that what I needed were actors that could do justice to the personalities here, and that was more important than resemblances (although I still tried to get as close as possible). Seth Rogen definitely has your jovial-but-can-likely-kick-your-ass quality.

I quite agree. TK is more about attitude and less about looks. But, in the case of the more well-known faces around here it helps to match the looks with the personality.

He's more like Michael Palin in real life...but ultimately I would cast Jonny Lee Miller.

Taken --unless there's someone better for Mentalist (no kidding: He was a tough one and I'm all ears).

Nope. Kato Kaelin.

Are you high? He's definitely NOT Kato.

Ick! Not quite as well as Phil Laak works. ;) Or Rupert Everett!

Yeah, the looks are right, but the personalities and type casting don't work here. They wouldn't do him justice.

Yeah, I can see Jon Miller.

Damn...I'd give my left fucking arm to make a flick with Catherine Bell, goth or not. But Wuhrer is awful hot, so SOLD (unless Tis has any objection).

You could get that big nigger from the Green Mile to play me, but you'd have to put him in whiteface.

Or Anthony Hopkins if you want the voice right.

Clarice ...

Mentalist: Alan Rickman, Christian Bale, or maybe Gary Oldman.

(I haven't checked the list to see who's taken.)

Bale's the only one young enough (there's only so much flexibility with age --can you see Rickman or even Olman playing a 23-year-old?). But definitely intriguing.

No, no, no. Well, on second thought, maybe Christian Bale, but not the other two. Actually, the more I think about it Ewan McGregor might do him justice. He'd need some toughening up, but he might be able to do it.

Though, I'd kill to include Ewen Bremner somewhere.

How 'bout Mike Tyson or Mr. T in whiteface? We'll let you apply it.

Until he finally gets a job and a place of his own, he is. ;)

But Kato isn't a good actor and Kevin James is the only person I think of when I think of Loktar. He's funny, and timid/nerdlike, yet totally personable.
