COVID-19 check in thread

It's been a frantic few weeks. Working from home the last 6 weeks - working implementing some of the Government's schemes to assist employers survive this horrible shit, and trying to get my folks through it all. And hopefully myself...

I'll eat a $1 can of Vienna sausages or a can of pork and beans before I'd eat my neighbor's ass. Calm down dude, there may be no toilet paper and cleaning supplies but there are still plenty of food options better than ass.

We furloughed most of our staff this week. Didn’t go down well with everyone as it’s seen as a step toward redundancies, but it will save the company in the short term. I’m quite jealous of everyone who’s off. Should be a nice holiday, even if they can’t go anywhere. My team went from 9 to 3, so should be an interesting few weeks!

Today I went for a long walk, got lost on a construction site and was escorted off by security.
 
I noticed at my job people are starting to get more cranky.

I am a little jealous of those that are off or working from home also.
We had reduced hours which is nice, but now are working more because some on staff are unable to work. Which I know would suck for them.

Long walks are nice.
 
There was a passanger with a Darth Vader helmet at my work today.
 
I've been working from home for a month now, it's good but I miss the people I work with, plus there is such a thing as too much time with your family.

Damn, my former roommate's dad was a Kenneth Copeland fan and a half, and that was 25 years ago at least. Dude was a whackadoo even back then.
 
I watched the original video that one is based on, and they really didn't have to change much. Just did some repeats and added music. I honestly don't know how people fall for such obvious con artists.
