I have a little bit different take of the Good Book than your average believer. I do know it well though.
 
Amen to that. I'm formerly stricken with/by faith as well. A couple years in Seminary way back when cured me but good.
 
I still have strong faith in higher powers and life after death, I just think it's been interpreted and administrated and politicized quite terribly by us humans.
 
I'm was thinking about becoming an atheist pastor until I realized most if not all pastors are atheists.

Besides, I don't hate people enough to preach the Gospel.

Plus, I look and feel horrible in wool.

I came away from christianity with a strong conviction that each and every person ought to be left alone to think, feel and believe as they see fit. Baring incursion into other's efforts to do the same obviously.

Christians included.

That and love of life.

If pressed I may tend toward a wee bit less consideration for evangelicals. I'm not terribly fond of evangelical christians.
