Fuck You [you]

You're so vain...

You probably think this post is about you

Don't you? Don't you? Don't you?

I always suspected the chick who wrote that song was secretly black. Black women seem to have this latent predisposition that causes them to repeat every single thing they say at least five times.

from the KKK, Captain...

Uhura really did have the receptionist job on that ship. Come to think of it, TOS Star Trek was incredibly sexist.

"Yeah, but promoting females is just a waste because some young man always steals them away from Starfleet" - J. T. Kirk

And no...that's not made up.

JT Kirk was a very sexist human. It's only in the last episode of TOS that Kirk gets some come-uppence. Captain Kirk-Space Queen.

LOLRACISM

Oh, it is not racism. Besides, do you know where stereotypes come from? Know why there's no stereotype of the Mexican neurosurgeon? Or the black day trader? Or the stoic, reserved gay man? Or the geek the hot, popular chicks in high school just can't get enough of?

Because those aren't the things people see over and over and over and over again.

Stereotypes become stereotypes due to widely observed long term prevalence. Every mildly agitated black woman I have ever seen repeats every single thing she says at least three times and more often closer to half a dozen times or more. Don't know why, don't care why, not saying it makes black women bad people, just saying it happens more often than it doesn't.

In the end, best advice -- if you don't like a stereotype, don't embody it.

What an incredibly well thought out and eloquent rationalization!
Doesn’t make it true, of course.
Stereotypes = substitute for thought.

She must've been raised by humans, then.

P.S. statements like that? RACIST!

No, it's the fact that it happened that makes it true.

Stereotypes = substitute for thought.

Stereotypes are collections of often-observed traits seen in a particular group or subgroup. Like white guys in clubs who are oblivious to the fact that they can't dance, or retired people who move to Florida, or mathematicians with poor social skills.

You don't have to like stereotypes for them to exist, or for them to be accurate.

How's it racist to say that a woman was likely raised by humans? You got somethin' against humans? Some of my best friends are humans! :pissed: :lol:

I think this is the point where we agree to disagree ;)
