I actually have distant cousins there. My father's parents (who both died before I was born) were native Irish.

We met them once in the late 70s when they visited, but we haven't been good at keeping in touch since. When I went over there for the Millennium, I didn't have a lot of time (or a rental car) for side trips so I couldn't visit them. Also I got so drunk New Year's Eve that I missed the turn of the century lol.
