General Neighbours discussion

All this business with doing it and "if you know what I mean" coyness is really annoying. After Neighbours I flicked through the channels and Doctors had two women in bed together. Why does Neighbours try to "tackle" teen subjects and then have all the characters talking like embarrassed nuns?

Though Donna did imply she was bisexual, but that was quickly forgotten as soon as she said Didge is "hot". They MUST be putting these references to Didge's "hotness" into the script as an in-joke.

Donna's my favourite character, she's quirky and interesting, like she's from a proper tv show.

Honestly, everytime they say how hot Didge is, or like in today's episode when Declan said how lucky he was to be with her "why wouldn't I want to brag about it?!" I just cringe or bitch at the tv. Of all the preposterous things in Neighbours, this is the worst.

Donna has another good line when she said Josh "just wanted to get his spokes into Didge." Paul had some good lines too. It's strange how the same writers come up with good lines for some characters and utter crap for others!

Maybe there's one good writer who does all of Donna, Karl, Susan, Libby, Toady, Callum and Paul's lines, but he charges a lot so they have to get crap writers for scenes involving Mickey.

VIRTUAL MICKEY!

I also like the way the Erinsborough News comes out daily, usually with a headline about someone who lives in Ramsey Street. Our local paper comes out once a week and no one from my street has ever been the headline.

The montage was quite good today, even though it made SUSAN look like an idiot and they zoomed in too much.

Also, this needlestick thing is lame. Just because he's a 'crim' he has HIV? And why would anyone care if Nicola got it, she's a skank!

True, he did come into contact with Didge, which is also when he showed the first symptoms.

"You have a beautiful daughter..."

In real life, when the Parkers find out about Mickey they'd call Ned and he'd come to pick him up.

Since this is Neighbours they'll just keep Mickey as their own and Ned will never be seen again.

Maybe Bridget can find find Mickey but they get hit by a bus and even Ringo with his wierd blue-enhance-memory can't save them!

And Carmella and Libby comfort each other.

I liked that Lou returned suddenly really worried about Mickey after completely disappearing for the last month. Was he even there when Mickey left?

Good episode today, though. Callum's turning into a really good character. Certainly a better actor than most of the grown up cast.
