When I am a troll, anything goes. When I am an admin, I am the death of 'fun' incarnate. I consider being in the admin high-seat a position which means you serve and nothing more - you don't even get a thank you, because you do it willingly. This school of thought helped my perpetual bitching about Cait's and Hambil's evils.

It's very simple. There are tech problems which prevent you from posting, like bad board clocks and permissions, and other problems like flooding. Every admin and mod is a servant to the greater good, and they are they to make sure your posting is undisturbed, like when you face a tech problem. There is no groveling, no thanks, no nothing - you take silent pride in what you do or you fuck off.

So again, when I am a troll anything trollish goes. But it was mostly because 'them' twats wanted to play lawyers with rules that I tried to be the harder, stronger, faster lawyer. Tell a troll to 'fuck off or you die because I feel like it,' and it ends right there.

I got a very different impression from you. I thought you genuinely disliked some of my hypocritical, iron-fisted rules there. Did you?
 
Meh... I dislike the rules that kill creativity and fun. Now, "fun" can be defined many ways. However, I think that when you're entertaining yourself with minimal discomfiture to others, that's probably the way to go. Trolling is the exact opposite. Being a retarded twat (ie Charles/NAP) is the exact opposite as well.

The non-spamming of SF is a bit harsh. I still maintain that all of the off-topic fora (MF, BL, Tea, SF) need to be merged into SF and let everyone co-exist there. There would be tension for a while, but they all contain the same things: spam, random conversations, sexual content, nerd/fanboi convos, and bickering. There are a wide variety of on-topic forums for non-spammy discussion. Trying to moderate and control four off-topic forums is a bit labor intensive, if you ask me.

I would also like to see the addition of a NSFW forum, probably in the form of an Adult/Erotica/Porn forum. That way, you can keep the NSFW crap contained and everyone has their area where they can release those "emissions". Right now, that shit pops up all over the place and as I said before, moderating all of it in four seperate forums is labor intensive.

There's my two cents... again.

I honestly don't think that all of those groups could co-exist. SF and the Badlands have enough in common where maybe. The Tea Room and the MF do as well. But all four? I think they're just to different.
 
My answer to that is "too bad." TK started that way. Nothing is stopping people from ignoring certain threads from certain people/groups. Also, nothing is stopping people from creating the same threads they always did. Having seperate forums is just appeasing a handful of people (mainly eggs, wacky, mm, and one or two others).

Who made "The Speak Freely Forum" non-spamming? or, I mean what is considered spam? I took it as being a "Gutter" Type forum

As far as the other forums "Conchaga" is talking about. My opinion has always stayed the same. They all are similar forums with diffrent posters. I agree they should be merged.

And another thang.

How are threads in "Speak Freely" as Gagh said, considered shit threads? What are yall trying to accomplish with "Speak Freely"?

Evedently Gagh and Sarek are accusing me of breaking the rules there.

Bullshit. The idea of one big forum is not something that huddled masses have requested repeatedly over the years, only to be squashed by some tyrannical "handful". This is an idea sprung by you alone. And it's a dumb one that won't encourage more freedom so much as it will create a huge unmoddable mess, and turn people off posting here. But thanks for playing! :)
 
Agreed. Just look at how many threads show up day in the MF alone. Some days, depending on the level of butthurt, the Badlands can be just as busy.

Agreed. Look at the mess the merging of just two of the forums made when Cow created the Minelands.
