Go away, Snow!

Gagh

Approx 4-5 inches outside now, that has fallen in the last 2 hours. Bloody stuff! It's rare down here right on the coast, where traditionally it's too warm or salty for snow to lay.

not snowing here, due to tho...

pix plz!!

Rae's always sending me pix of her bloody daffodils when we're up to our necks in the white dross
SO I WANT PAYBACK OR THE WORM HAS TURNED OR SUMMAT LIKE THAT.

:D

I definitely DO NOT miss the weather back in Philadelphia. Right now it's bright and sunny and 75 degrees here in Beverly Hills. If I want to see snow, I'll just drive 30 minutes to the mountains.

I don't think I would care for a green Xmas.

I'd love to take pix, but it's half past 8 now, and they won't come out well at all.

Besides, it's all snug in here!

lol.

Seph, I am shocked - that is a WOLF!

damn - I keep forgetting about that bloody Time Zone.

lol, still nice av, like his aptly snowy NOeeeeZZZ

I don't think I would care for a green Xmas.

Very easy to get used to. Especially when you see pix of the midwest and East Coast snowed in, while you're in shorts and flip-flops.

omg - living in SoCal has made you soft, BDM!

ok, teasing aside - Does anyone there still buy evergreens from local lots (we get ours from the Kiwanis guys cuz it's their big fund-raiser for the year) or do you have an artificial one? or do you decorate Palm Trees? (I DONT KNOW)

Gagh should run out naked into the snow and scream at it, perhaps then it might go away.

It's well over 6 inches deep now, and it's a steady fall of the biggest snowflakes I've seen in my life. May be snowed in tomorrow for work. We got the talk today - no problems taking it as annual leave for me, as I converted a week's Xmas leave to sick when I went back Monday. Tonsilitis and a Chest Infection meant the first day I woke up healthy was the Sunday before I went back!

Has the military been called out yet?

that would be a waste of military time dave. think about all the other things they could be doing.

Theres no oil in snow

I often have green Christmases down here in Floridaland. There are tree farms around where you can go buy a real Christmas tree, there's one right down the road. Apparently evergreens like the warm weather too!

I like snow, but I'm glad I don't live where it snows.

We've been warned to expect over 40cm overnight. The country is practically grinding to a standstill (our infrastructure is laughably naff). Looks like the heaviest snowfall in our region for over 30 years.

OMG, somebody call Doctor Who!
