Both. I was hitting on the femme, not knowing she was so inclined, while I was a cocky teen in Vegas. Her companion was roughly the size of a refrigerator and was not pleased that I was trying to snake her girlfriend. Strangely enough, women I fall in with rarely weep. Rage and yell and throw things, yes, but weeping not so much. I think I must have that effect on people. Has to do with the innate ability to see what really might push someone's buttons, combined with the lack of impulse control required to refrain from pushing said button.
