If the creators don't like the 'zombie-like' aspect of Sylar's consuming the brains of others maybe they should have thought about that before they had him opening up skulls.

It'd be more elegant for him to be able to manipulate his own DNA with his ability/abilities after 'seeing' the DNA of others and using it as a blueprint for altering his own.

Nothing's been revealed, so it's all pointless speculation about fiction which has yet to be written.
 
Hmm, so Sylar and Peter definitely survive. I suppose Isaac will die since his premonitions are always right and the woman who plays Simone said someone else would bite it. But the pics don't show that for sure. Maybe he dies later on, at the same time as the explosion like when Hiro went forward in time.

Peter has to survive, IMO, since future Hiro comments on the scar he will have.
 
He's not going to have the scar anymore. He had the scar in future Hiro's timeline because he never went to Texas, never met Claire and never got the healing power. "Save the cheerleader, save the world." He probably had an encounter with Sylar similar to the one in episode 18 and got the scar. But in our timeline Peter has the healing power, so the scar will fade away.

Awesome episode. I love this show.

Why didn't Mohinder kill Sylar when he was laying there unconscious? He had the balls to try and shoot him before.. I'd have chopped his head off.

Yay.. I knew Peter would heal himself. I can't believe grandma is such a cold hearted bitch though.
 
I didn't think it was that great actually. Like you say, Mo should've killed Sylar, and Granny Petrelli claimed to know all about Peter and Nathan's powers, so she should've realised Peter had Claire's healing.

Looking forward to next week's more.
 
I just powered through all the episodes since the break today.

Intense stuff and no drop off in quality whatsoever.

Just the double part season finale to get through now.


I need to make some animated .gifs.
 
The end of the season looks to be pretty intresting.
 
They're going to go all out with it. It should give us a clue as to what sort of situation we're going into S2 with.
