Cowboys' D wants more sacks, turnovers and to play 'our style'
Except for the suspended Randy Gregory, the unit returned every key figure from a defense that finished ranked seventh in yards per game and sixth in points per game in 2018. So why isn't the Cowboys' defense playing up to expectations through the first six games?

All five are listed as questionable for the game, but they practiced Friday on a limited basis and -- barring any last-minute setback -- will play. Smith and Collins had their second straight day of limited work, while Cooper, Cobb and Jones practiced for the first time this week on Friday.

Why haven't the Cowboys, Dak Prescott agreed on a deal?
All of this makes the ongoing contract negotiations with Prescott, 26, an interesting topic. The Cowboys initially wanted to get a long-term deal done with the fourth-year QB in the spring. Then it was before training camp in Oxnard, California. Then it was during camp and finally before the regular season began on Sept. 5. Here it is Week 7 and there's no deal.

Since they played opposite each other in the Senior Bowl game back in 2016, and drafted in the same class later that spring and now reside in the same division, it’s only fitting that Carson Wentz and Dak Prescott will be linked to each other for likely their entire careers.

"Tell him to come on. We ready," Lawrence said. "Can he play the game? So he might want to shut his ass up and stay on the sideline. He can't play the game for them. The Eagles got to play them and he's supposed to sit on the sideline and do whatever he wants to do. But he can't play the game for them, so we'll see."
 
Brett Maher first kicker to make three 60-yard FGs
Maher became the first kicker in NFL history with three field goals of at least 60 yards with his 63-yarder at the end of the half to give the Cowboys a 27-7 lead over the Philadelphia. Maher's make was also a Cowboys record. He made a 62-yarder against the Eagles last season at AT&T Stadium and a 62-yarder last week against the New York Jets at MetLife Stadium.
