I hope the Large Hadron Collider really does kill us all

CaptainWacky

I want to smell dark matter
At least we'll all be equal then.

we're all star dust.

Being squashed in to an infinite density singularity inside a black hole until it breaks down and throws us in to perhaps a new universe as proposed by loop quantum theory would be more exciting than dying of cancer/heart disease/car accident.

So I'm all for it!

Yep, and who's to say that all our atoms won't re-arrange back into us in this new universe but we'll be like Gods or something?

Andre "the Giant" Roussimoff.

I have no need to die tomorrow.

Stephen Hawking, I think. We need the Hadron Collider to keep that fucking cripple from CRUSHING OUR DREAMS.

Dark matter is complete bullshit, so says I.

It sounds a bit silly.

In the new universe, we will rule.

This dude thinks string theory is largely bullshit, and is hoping the Hadron will help him prove it.

Read a New Yorker article on him a couple months ago. Interesting guy, as are his theories.

Does Eminem count as a white person?

No, a walking turd sandwich with dyed hair doesn't count as any kind of person.

DEATH DAY IS HERE!

"it's bullshit that we are letting the FRENCH destroy the earth, we Americans called dibs like 50 years ago!"
good call, friend

whew.

But to be fair Modified Newtonian Dynamics is nearly always an effective field theory and less compatible than Dark Matter Theory.

Tensor-Vector-Scalar gravity theory explains much better but is still far from convincing and is nowhere near being as complete as Dark Matter Theory.

Dark Matter/Energy has it's problems but it's got a LOT of observable data backing it up.

All these Modified Newtonian Dynamic theories can be infinitiley modified to fit and solve anything in Cosmology.

But who the fuck knows. That's what the LHC is for I guess. It will be interesting to see what they find and if it does solve some of these questions that have stopped us in our tracks from solving the Unified Theory then risking the world is probably worth it. He who dares, wins, Rodders!
