I hope the Large Hadron Collider really does kill us all

I was so disappointed to wake up still alive this morning. Even more so than usual.
 
It was rather anti-climatic.
 
Of course we could have all switched into a parallel universe which is identical in every away except Boris Johnson is gay in this universe and we won't find out until he tries to bugger us all.
 
All I want to know is, are we any closer to flying cars and hover boards?

And it turns out they're not even going to start smashing particles together until after October 21!

What if when they turn that thing on, the world dosnt end, but anyone that dies, anywhere in the world, their soul gets sucked into the machine?
