Remember when the Troi stand-in said "Bio...neural...circuitry" in the pilot episode, and then they only mentioned it about 3 more times in 7 years when they needed a quick way out of a plot hole?

Seriously, they should have done a lot more with the "artificial brains" material. Like made Androids out of it. Of course, since it's artificial brain matter, the average android wouldn't be any smarter than the average human, but they could still have played it for teh lulz.
