I'm so sad....

It was obvious members like Shy wouldn't be able to find their place on TK anyway. After the “OMFG strippers” shock wore off they didn't have anything else to contribute to the board. Maybe a few of them can move past that.
 
Before we all jump on the "hate the strippers" bandwagon, we should at least admit to ourselves that this is not an easy bored to which to contribute. The improbability of it all is exactly what makes it simultaneously intriguing to some and inane to others.

You're right it is a hard board to become a part of. You have to have a thick skin, you have to be a confident person, you have to be able to face controversy and confrontational posters. Also you need to be somewhat smart in order to stay a part the board.

Are the strippers any of those those things?
 
Strippers have thick, rough scaly skin. Like lizards, only oily instead of dry.
 
I had a stripper do a lap dance once, and she was so scaly she rubbed a hole in my pants, just from the friction of her rough skin.

I think they can be all of those things. They were just a little too technologically immature by internet standards. [I don't mean emotional maturity here, that's a whole other issue which thankfully they are not afflicted with].

well, in my own experience, I've found that many of the long time members of stripperweb display all of those qualities. There was a time when sw wasn't exactly an easy board to be a part of but it's definately mellowed and we've learned to play nice. I'm not sure who was over here or what sort of fracas ensued, I don't even know that I'll stay...I'm just nosey...and bored...and I always got a kick out of a good troll invasion
