It's Emma Frost, bitches

My choice for the White Queen is easily the up & coming British actress, Anne Widdecombe.

The first two X-Men movies were critical and financial successes.

I wouldn't go so far as to call them "critical." Maybe "Okay", but not "critical." Unless of course you're saying that they were critical for Marvel Comics to stay afloat, because if those two movies tanked, so would Marvel. They had just declared bankruptcy for the umpteenth time when those flicks were being released. They were pivotal for the company to stay alive. I'd say Spider-Man was what really clinched it for them, not the two X-films.

That's not what he meant by "critical"!

Critics scores mean shit - everyone is a critic. People vote with their wallets. A franchise like X-Men will always put bums in seats (that's your ass, not a homeless person).

Box office returns aren't always that accurate. You have to see how the movie is doing a few weeks after opening. If word of mouth succeeds in getting more asses in seats, then your movie is good. I hate having to pay to see movies in theaters. I always wait for the DVD release and buy it. ONLY after I've heard opinions from people whose opinions I trust when it comes to movies. I always let other people be the canaries. That is, of course, unless it's a movie franchise I'll always dump my cash on, like

I'm not arguing, just confused by half the stuff Conchaga's saying.

The opening scene in X2 with Nightcrawler is still one of my favourite scenes in any super hero movie.

I agree let's add to the nerdiness by frothing at the mouth for a woman who we know nothing about personally, but simply because she plays a comic book superhero in a movie we haven't seen yet.

*faps profusely thinking about the images Emma put into my brain*

Ain't telepathy grand?

I just like the Emma Frost character and think JJ is a really great choice to play her. Don't judge me :(.
