Just found out today is pancake day

we call it being an Anglican up here.

but I did wonder what the hell an Episcopalian was supposed to be! I wonder what the origin of that is.

you can't compare those 2! if we start going that route then filet mingon>bacon. Lets keep our meats and breads seperate.

If you watch the movie Elizabeth, that sums it up right there, how the Church of England started. I'm confirmed and all and was as an adult so I should know this but I don't know why the church is called Episcopal.

The Episcopal church has all the same rites as the Catholic church but we don't believe in transcendence so anyone can take the body and blood as long as you've been baptized, and even then priests will still rather you have it than not. Also, the Episcopal church thinks it's a-okay for women to be priests and deacons and all priests to marry and have families. And hey if you're gay, WELCOME! So's our head Bishop! It's a kinder gentler Catholic church.

Yeah, I guess if I ever did come back to a church, I'd go Episcopal. It seems the natural choice for recovering Catholics. ;)
 
Are there any foods that wouldn't be improved by being wrapped up in bacon?

I don't even eat bacone all that often, I just like the word.
 
I had some imitation crab wrapped in bacon at the Chinese buffet about an hour ago. COULDN'T EVEN TELL THE CRAB WAS FAKE!
