LOST!!!!!!

I thought they were both average. Some interesting stuff though and hopefully answers are going to be the flavour of the season rather than endless mysteries. I'd give the two of them a B rating. Nothing will ever touch S2's premiere but I was hoping...

Even if I'm not massivley overwhelmed yet I'm still going to be hooked to this shit and waiting for every episode like a hungry hippo MUNCHES BALLS.

Looks like they're going to go with the Novikov self-consistency principle when it comes to time travel. It's a refreshing change to most sci-fi time travel that is based around changing things. Although I'm not sure how far they're going to go with this since obviously things have changed due to time travel (Desmond but he's special)

Speaking of sci-fi they're not being shy anymore are they. OK, so Lost has always skirted heavily with science fiction as a major premise but they're really just going for it now and are not holding back one bit. We have fully arrived in science fiction territory. Not a problem for us seasoned veterans who live and breath this stuff but I wonder how the ratings will reflect this. Lost is exceptionally difficult to follow at times. Even if you have followed the show from the start It's almost mandatory to read up on the show at least a bit (Lostpedia I love you) to really keep sharp on everything that's going on.

Kate is still as unlikable as ever. Locke is still a total badass. Ben is still just super fucking awesome and makes every scene he is in riveting. And Faraday might have just become my new favourite character.


Now we have to wait a week for the next episode.

That's what I thought, too. Might explain the old US Army knife Ana Lucia had a few seasons back.
 
I wonder if Sawyer and Juliet might be responisble for most of the whispers as they sneak around the bushes trying to avoid earlier versions of themselves.
 
I think Sawyer was one of the first people to hear the whispers. They used to be associated with the others but that could easily be ret-conned. The other seem to exist "outside of time" or something since they didn't jump with the rest (but Juliet jumped, so I guess she isn't recognised as an "other" by the island anymore.) Maybe Jacbo stops them from jumping by converting them into whispering voices during time skips...or somethimg.
 
BY THE WAY, did any Sky people watch the Ian Lee thing? It gave away some pretty major spoilers.

Yeah, coming up in half an hour, lost, will the oceanic 6 get back to the island, before then, heres a behind the scenes look at episode ten where everyone is back on the island.

Looks like Ben is still getting beat up a lot.
 
And they were all in Dharma jumpsuits, so looks like they'll go back in time and disguise themselves as Dharma people (which is what Farraday was doing in opening scene of the first ep.)
 
I wish they'd show cool spoilery specials here :( NOT FAIR. Anyway I read a cute one about Desmond and Penny over at SC.
 
Will they ever explain what happened to Dayle Cooper at the Black Lodge???
 
The final payoff will never be satisfying enough anyway.
 
Given how lame the 'push in these numbers every x minutes or the world ends' thread was tied up, I'm not expecting much.

It didn't even kill anyone. The door flew off but Bernard pulled Claire out of the way.
 
omgomgogmomgomgomgomg the dvr is on pause while i'm on the phone and it's right after the title and i'll have to skip commercials but it's on like donkey kong and i'm obviously excited omg!
