LOST!!!!!!

GOOD EPISODE! SPOILERS AHEAD!

Cool seeing how the whole Richard coming to visit Locke when he was a kid thing came about. Widmore was an Other! OK, I have a hard time getting my thoughts together without someone else going first, so I will wait till someone else says something, HURRY UP.

oooh! Desmond and Penny have a bambino!!!
Looks like it's the end for Charlotte, tho.
AND DESMOND DONT GO BACK TO THE ISLAND! (we know he will)

who the hell was the curly top girlie with the gun? why did everyone give her a double take? am I the only one who doesnt recognize her?
wait - is that Faraday's Mom when she was young?

Richard looks like he's wearing mascara. And it's not sexy like with Criss Angel!

I can't decide if Widmore's good or bad....

Richard ALWAYS wears makeup!

I think Widmore is a bad guy, he loves his daughter though, so I think he was sincere when he told Desmond to keep her away from all the island stuff.

Young Widmore called her Ellie. According to the rerun of "The Lie" (with popups), Fionnula Flannigan's character is named Eloise Hawking. So I'm guessing they're the same person. :)

Another great episode, and the time jumping thing is really starting to explain a lot of things that didn't really make a lot of sense before -- Richard being around for Locke's birth and being frustrated when Locke didn't choose the compass as the thing that belonged to him a few years later, for example.

I liked the episode despite all the hot characters not being in it (although Charlotte's growing on me).

So Daniel was staring at her because she's his mom! IMO!

One more thing: Eloise was the name of the mouse Daniel was using in his maze experiment last season.

*sniff* They named their baby Charlie. *sniff*

Good episode. Less chaotic and more structured than the first two outings. A very different tone as well.

The time traveling seemed more integral and interesting than the premiere as well.

I think everyone is right as to Daniel's mum. Was interesting to see Widmore there as well. The link back to Richard visiting Locke when he was a child was a definite "ah-ha!" moment.

I'll give this one a B+

Fuck....another week to wait.

i liked miles in this last ep - walkin' over the graves of the US soldiers and just knowing... omg. "jughead". that shit is awesome, daniel's all, "it'll work because in 50 years the island is still here omgomg!"

i thought for sure that locke giving the compass to richard would sort it out, but it looks like there is to be more intrigue and whatnot.

Did you know the dead talk to Miles?
The first time meet him, he went into a dead boy's room and found out the kid had been dealing and stole his stash of cash!

There was a big wall of concrete under the Swan station, so that could be where the bomb was buried. Then again an H Bomb wouldn't cause magnetic disturbances, would it? And it wouldn't just blow everyone's clothes off when it went off (as happened to Desmond when the Swan blew up.)

Good episode. They're still doing the frustrating "no answers" thing though.

"How old is Richard anyway?"
"Old."

HELPFUL. In other words, it's not time to find out yet. I assume the blond girl on the island was a young Mrs Hawking (Daniel's mum.) Young Widmore was an Other! I suspected he tried to take command of the Others and was overthrown and exiled from the island. He was then involved in sending the Dharma Initiative there. I bet the writers are wishing they'd just had Widmore be the head of Dharma instead of Alvar Hanso (who hasn't been mentioned since season two.)

I wonder if all the things Richard brought to young Locke last season are associated with him in different time periods. He had the compass, the knife, and there was a vile of sand too (FROM JACOB'S CABIN BECAUSE LOCKE IS JACOB?)

Miles is cool, but we still know nothing about him other than that he's sarcastic and sees ghosts. We know even less about Charlotte and she might be dead! She actually is quite fit for a ginger whose covered in blood all the time. If she is dead the rest of them should give Daniel ten minutes alone with her still warm corpse out of sympathy.

They should give him 10 minutes with her while she's still having convulsions!

NAIL THAT SHIT.

oh..

When I first heard they were burying the bomb, I wondered if this would be something used in the last episode either to wipe out the island, or at least as a threat to, but if the thing is already leaking I doubt it would still detonate after 50 years underground.

I do wonder if the constant radiation leaking is something to do with why no new babies are ever born on the island.

I don't think so, I thought that was tied in with the island's healing properties. And surely a lot more people would have cancer if there was radiation leaking for 50 years. Except Rose's cancer was actually healed. Hmm.

Maybe the radiation caused "the sickness" and was why the Dharma people were supposed to wear those hazard suits outside...except Kelvin's suit had a hole in it and he was only wearing it to fool Desmond for some reason. So...I don't know.

Shit, most of those things I didn't even pick up on! Although watching the end of the episode again it's pretty obvious the Daniel/Charlotte theory is bang on.

It was distressing.
