Michael Dorn: I'm developing a Worf TV series

Holy shit I thought this was a spoof thread!
Now I don't know what to say other than - if there has to be a spin off, pls be it with Jadzia Dax instead of Worf. I can't stand Worf.

Depends where Ily's spinoff takes place. I suppose if necessary Worf could make a few brief canmeo appearances, though mostly he'll be mentioned briefly in a line or two of dialogue.
 
Terry Farrell isn't really a very good actress. I'd take Dorn over her (NO NOT IN THAT WAY...although...)

Well it would have to take place after DS9 and the TNG movies he was in or it would mess with the time line.

Not if you Abrams it and make it an alternate timeline that runs parallel to the original one.
 
This would just seem like a massive step backwards to me.

Stars from previous shows should be for cameos, not leads.

And noone should start a new star trek series without at least a years worth of plot ideas already thought out, so its not just a rehash of the 500 episodes they already made.

Well given that the JJ film was massively more popular than any one before it, I reckon they will be doing things his way for a while.
