Hmph. I thought he had already died a while ago. I guess not.
And he was part of Our Gang, but not the good ones produced by Hal Roach in the 1930s. In 1938 the franchise was sold to MGM, who completely sanitized and neutered it and turned it into a bunch of saccharin morality tales. That's when Robert "Bobby" Blake was added to the cast. Those later reels weren't shown on TV much (since they sucked, and Spanky was getting on it years), so a lot of people never saw Blake in it.
