Only really relevant to BBC viewers in the UK, but the voiceover and film is a really clever parody.

I particularly like the comment:
"He had created the televisual equivalent of a drunken late night wikipedia binge with a pretention for narrative coherence."

Excellent! I watched the first in his recent series, but kind of forgot about it after that, even after Charlie Brooker, David Mitchell and other Guardian columnists reminded me that it was a Landmark Documentary.

Yeah I watched about five minutes of that and it was just gobblydook, but I was too frightened to say anything because Charlie Brooker liked it.

The thing is, I do actually come home Drunk, then pretend I am really clever on Wikipedia for an hour learning about Bratislavan geology and its impact on shoe production before posting crap in TK chat and going to bed.

THEY SPIED ON ME>

Oh well we've all done that. Sometimes you get really lucky and someone randomly brings up a subject in conversation that you read about on wikipedia the previous day and you can pretty much quote extracts of the article verbatim, while sounding vaguely bored at the prospect of having to relate a portion of your vast knowledge to a mere neurotypical mortal.
