The 2024 MLB postseason will be broadcast across a variety of networks, and the World Series will be broadcast on FOX. Covey is 7-32 with a 6.18 ERA in 46 starts and 54 relief appearances over five major league seasons with the Chicago White Sox (2017-19), Boston (2020), the Los Angeles Dodgers (2023) and the Phillies (2023), striking out 214 and walking 133 in 307⅓ innings.

Angels land slugger Jorge Solar from Braves for RHP Griffin Canning
Soler, whose mammoth home run in Game 6 of the '21 World Series remains a hallmark for that Braves team, hit .241/.338/.442 with 21 home runs and 64 RBIs in 142 games last season...Canning, 28, is a former second-round pick who debuted in 2019, less than two years after being drafted. He started 31 games for the Angels last season, posting a 5.19 ERA over 171⅔ innings with 130 walks, 66 strikeouts and 31 home runs allowed.

Orioles acquire outfielder Daz Cameron in trade with A's
In 66 games with the A's, Cameron batted .200 with career highs in home runs (five) and RBIs (15). Across 139 career MLB games for Detroit and Oakland, Cameron is a .201 hitter with 10 homers and 39 RBIs.

Corbin Burnes among 8 Orioles entering MLB free agency pool
Outfielder Juan Soto, pitchers Corbin Burnes, Walker Buehler and Max Fried, and first baseman Pete Alonso were among 136 players who became free agents Thursday morning. Third baseman Alex Bregman, outfielder Anthony Santander and shortstop Willy Adames also went free.
 
Reds honor Pete Rose with 14-hour visitation at stadium
Rose, known as "Charlie Hustle" for his unbridled passion for the game, was the engine behind Cincinnati's "Big Red Machine" clubs that won back-to-back World Series titles in 1975 and 1976. Despite his indiscretions away from the diamond, fans arrived as early as 4 a.m. Sunday to honor Rose, slowly passing by an urn containing his ashes and a table displaying his bright red Reds Hall of Fame induction suit jacket and other memorabilia while a highlight video of his illustrious career played on the concourse video boards.
