Must they remake EVERYTHING?!

I wonder if Tom will let the ELders punish and reprogram his kid if the movie tanks.

Star Trek was really good. But it wasn't actually a remake. It was a canon change/restart. I haven't seen the Friday the 13th remake yet, but I'd like to. The others they should leave alone. I understand they're going to try to remake A Nightmare on Elm Street. Just leave it alone, people. The Halloween remake was atrocious.
 
Yeah, I don't think we knew exactly what the deal was with Star Trek when that thread started. It's not a remake, but it's certainly a re-something or other.
 
Ugh. Red Dawn was a pure junk-food movie. Great for its time when I was 13, and thought it would be awesome to shoot AK-47's and kill the bad guys. But it's typical 80's action fare, it really doesn't hold up today.
