While you and I may not be "friends", as in we don't meet down at the coffee shop for eggs and toast once a week, I think highly of you. You are smart, funny, witty, retrospective and continually evolving into one fine human being.

My condolences on the death of your father and not having the opportunity to have a better relationship with him. My sister and I spent most of our lives hating each other but I miss her more than I can say without blubbering. It happens as time goes by and you realize the loss is on more than a few levels. But, as my brother says, "It'll be okay" - it will.
