Hey, RobL, good to see you! What do you have planned for New Year's Eve this year?

Update on old dog:
He is doing very well. His foot is healing slowly but he gets around very well and his appetite is very good. Only problem is now he won't eat unless I spoon feed him most of it - spoiled rotten he is. He is still trying to get into small spaces and has picked up a new entertainment - shoving an empty clothes basket around the house. He has been able to go outside a few times even though he has to be carried up and down the steps, and he can't lay down by himself. Still, he has come a long way over the last two months.
 
I am officially on vacation for the next 5 days. I'm going to start it right now by taking a nap. Then, I'm going to get up and go to bed.
 
I have a Halloween Party to go to tonight. I'm not sure I want to go. I can't find my nail costume, it is a long drive out in the country, and some of the guests are people I work with. I try not to socialize with people from work. But, I would probably have a good time. Surely there is an old costume hanging around here somewhere.
 
So, I didn't go to the party. Instead, I helped the kid decorate the front porch for Halloween. Actually, I stood around and held things, passed up tacks and such. Then, we had pizza and watched a lot of TV together. Today, have to get out and work in the yard. Kids decided to trim the bushes in the front of the house. Fortunately, it is rose season so my yellow rose bush will recover fairly quickly. My red tip philotinas are a different story. Oh well. Practice makes perfect.

I'm home today because I have a virus. Yuck. All there is to eat in the house is fish. Cats beat me up and took it from me. So, now I'm ripped to shreds too. Bad cats. Little do they know I won't forget this. I'll be better, soon. And, when I am, there will be hell to pay. I'll teach them to take my fricking fish.

BTW, Grammour Boy, I'm not Gagh's dual. I'd apologise for letting you go on thinking that but it was your assumption. We both like tea, but he takes his hot and I drink mine iced. We're an ocean apart.

The fighting, the snippiness, the petty backbiting, the spamming, the lack of intelligent conversation. . .but, on the other hand, TK has some of the most intelligent people posting some of the funniest and cleverest thoughts evah!
