Chase Briscoe tames Bristol for seventh NASCAR Xfinity Series win of season
Briscoe passed Cindric with five laps remaining Friday night at Bristol Motor Speedway, pouncing when Cindric lost power steering. Briscoe raced to his series-best seventh victory of the year while regular-season champion Cindric slipped to a third-place finish.


Justin Allgaier completes NASCAR Xfinity sweep at Richmond
Allgaier, who lost the lead when he had trouble on a previous restart, had no such issues starting on the inside with teammate Jeb Burton to his outside and Ross Chastain behind him. He quickly moved in front and pulled away in a dominant performance.
 
Michael Jordan's road to being a NASCAR owner, 14 years in the making
So, how did Hamlin, Jordan and Wallace end up together? It started back in 2006. That's when Jordan became an investor in the still-new Charlotte Bobcats. The Jack Nicholson of the Bobcats was Hamlin, a NASCAR wunderkind who won two races during his first full-time Cup Series season and was a self-described "basketball junkie" who sat courtside at the NBA team's sparkling new arena.

Kurt Busch wins at Las Vegas to end 0-for-21 skid at home track
Busch ended an 0-for-21 losing streak at Las Vegas with good timing and then three tremendous restarts. He entered the race 12th in the standings and in danger of elimination from title contention, but the victory earned him an automatic berth into the next round.

Chase Briscoe grabs eighth NASCAR Xfinity win of season in playoff opener in Las Vegas
Briscoe, in a Ford for Stewart-Haas Racing, won all three stages Saturday night at Las Vegas Motor Speedway, then beat hometown driver Noah Gragson on a late restart to grab control of the Xfinity Series title race.

Austin Hill rebounds with win at Las Vegas to advance in NASCAR Truck Series playoffs
Hill had dropped from first in the standings -- where he'd been ranked since the second race of the season to eighth in points after he finished 25th last week in the playoff opener at Bristol. It was just the third time this season Hill finished lower than 12th and dropped him to the edge of playoff elimination.
 
Justin Haley wins Talladega to advance in NASCAR Xfinity Series playoffs
Haley, who in 2019 won the Cup race in July at Daytona, has three career Xfinity Series victories, all this season, all on superspeedways. He won at Talladega in June, Daytona in August and then again Saturday at Talladega.

Canadian rookie Raphael Lessard grabs NASCAR Truck series win at Talladega
Lessard is the fifth foreign-born winner in the Truck series. The teenager moved from Quebec to North Carolina in January, two months before the coronavirus pandemic upended his first full-time season in an American national series

Sheldon Creed gets in Truck series final 4 with victory in Texas
Creed qualified for the championship round by taking the two-lap overtime finish created when playoff contender Ben Rhodes clipped noncontending Christian Eckes with both in the top five with two laps to go, leaving several drivers angry.

Martin Truex Jr. bumped back in Texas, docked 20 points over spoiler
The 2017 Cup champion and runner-up the past two seasons also was fined $35,000. The points deduction still leaves Truex seventh in the points standings going into Sunday's race, but he's now 51 points behind the cutoff line for the final four.
 
Chase Elliott races into NASCAR championship as Kevin Harvick is eliminated
Elliott won the high-stakes race to earn his first career berth in the championship four. It stopped Harvick one race short of the title round in a stunning collapse to a season spent as the favorite to win the Cup crown.

Harrison Burton jumbles Xfinity Series playoff race with Martinsville win
Burton, eliminated from the playoffs in the round of 12, became the youngest winner in Martinsville history at 20 years, 22 days. It broke the mark set by his father, Jeff, in 1990 when he was 23.
