Kyle Busch ends Hendrick win streak at Pocono despite car being stuck in 4th gear
Busch came through in the clutch even when he raced without one and busted Hendrick Motorsports' winning streak and denied the organization a shot at NASCAR history when he raced to his second Cup victory of the season Sunday.

Austin Cindric wins 4th Xfinity Series race of season at Pocono
Cindric won his 12th career Xfinity race, his 3-second lead down the stretch clipped to a half-second by Gibbs over the final two laps.

Kyle Busch wins at Road America for fourth Xfinity Series victory of '21 in four starts
NASCAR only allows Cup Series drivers such as Busch to compete in five Xfinity and five Truck Series races a year. Busch is scheduled to enter his final Xfinity event of the season next week at Atlanta.

Chase Elliott wins at Road America, now 3rd all-time in road course victories
Elliott started in the 34th position but still found a way to win the NASCAR Cup Series at Road America on Sunday to wrap up a playoff spot. The 25-year-old Hendrick Motorsports driver has seven career Cup Series victories on road courses, putting him in sole possession of third place in NASCAR history.

Busch knocked Joe Gibbs Racing teammate Daniel Hemric from the lead with a late push. That cast a pall on what otherwise would have been an ideal way for Busch to say goodbye to NASCAR's second-tier series.

Hill passed Smith for the lead just before the field was frozen for a caution on the third overtime try, giving him the key inside position beside Smith.

Almirola snapped a 98-race winless streak and added New Hampshire to a rain-shortened win at Daytona in 2014 and Talladega in 2018 for his third victory in 374 races.

Bell turned a spot start in the Xfinity Series into a trip to victory lane, winning in a romp for Joe Gibbs Racing on Saturday at New Hampshire Motor Speedway.

Kurt Busch raced to his first victory of the season, 33rd overall and the fourth of his career at Atlanta. He locked up a spot in the playoffs and possibly improved his chances of securing a new ride next season.

Kyle Larson wins NASCAR Cup series race at Watkins Glen, eyes regular-season title
Elliott was seeking his third straight victory at the Glen but was relegated to the back of the field before the race when his No. 9 Chevrolet failed inspection twice. He made a gallant charge in the final segment but couldn't overcome Larson's big lead and crossed the finish line 2.45 seconds behind.


Ty Gibbs wins Xfinity race at Watkins Glen
It was the third win in 10 Xfinity races this season for the grandson of team owner Joe Gibbs, and he prevailed over the top two drivers in the standings.
