Male Iguana approx 3 years old

She is absolutely beautiful!!! How often does she whip you with her tail? I hate getting whipped by an Iguana's tail!! What do you feed them? I would so much love to have an Iguana!!! My neighbor's used to have one and I would go over and play with it a lot!!!
She doesn't whip very often, and since she has a regrown tail she doesn't have the sharp spikes running the whole length of her tail which means less pain and damage if she would whip. She has nipped me before, but didn't draw blood it was more of a warning than her wanting to hurt me. She is very tempermental.
They eat a variety of veggies, leafy greens and fruits. They do not eat lettuce and insects.
If you are seriously thinking about raising an Iguana, let me know. I'll make sure you have all the info you need, and direct to to some sites that have been a huge help to me. They are not easy or cheap to keep.
That's a Ball python, they average out at 5 foot. Not sure on age, he was give to me several months ago.
Tokay Gecko, not sure of age, under a year old.

I though Ball python's could easily get to 7 ft. Maybe that's Rosie Boa's. Ball python's are beautiful though! An albino corn would be awesome though. Too bad I don't have the space and I don't think anyone is allowed to have one, but a Reticulated python would be fucking awesome!!!
Dual is NOT going to be too happy over this one!!! Have you ever been bitten or gotten the hairs on it's abdomen shot at you? I've heard it is not very pleasant!
When we first get her, she was a few months old so she was pretty small and she was trying to climb behind my computer so I grabbed her one hand around her body and for some stupid reason I grabbed her tail too. So she dropped her tail (Autonomy- a natural defense mechanism). My daughter started crying, mommy what did you do to her tail. So I'm standing their shocked Iggy in one hand and wriggling tail in the other.
Ball Pythons are a pain, your best bet is to go with a Corn snake or a Milk snake, there are also several really beautiful Rat snakes you could choose from as well. Colubrids are excellent beginner snakes. And most don't require much space.
Corn snakes, Milk snakes, and Rat snakes are really cool. Corns are sort of a pain in the ass with how good of escape artists they are. Every one I have ever know has escaped at least once, usually many more than 1 time! In preschool we had a Corn snake named Cornelius who escaped, went into the finch cage, ate the finch's, then proceeded to hide in the cabinets for a few weeks.
