New Batman movie - are you afraid to go now?

Go see the fucking movie, even if you don't give two shits about comic book movies or Batman.

And not to "make a statement" or "to let the terrorists/crazies know that WE WILL GO ON!" or some equally overwrought bullshit.

Go see it because you aren't a stupid dumbfuck. Go see it because you realize there's zero correlation between a movie theater, this particular movie (or any movie) or any other form of media and what this pussy did.

That said, don't be a moron, either. Keep your wits about you. Pays to do that ANYWHERE and at ANYTIME, regardless of this type of shit and regardless of where you are/what you're doing.

This just in:

The reboot Batman film, due to debut in 2015 and will be a super-campy version of "The Dark Knight Returns" featuring Adam West and any other surviving members of the old Batman series.

It will feature ZERO GUNS, BULLETS, OR OUTRIGHT VIOLENCE. Ward's advanced age will only allow him to use banana peels, marbles, and oil slicks to trip his enemies. Punches will be thrown, but will not be seen connecting.

I'm kidding, but if something like this happens to the Batman film franchise, I'm moving to the UK.

Be sure to rinse that dildo off after you take it out of your ass and before you shove it up your sister's. Don't want her to get an infection.

I forgot to mention I had this photo. Your mom asked if I minded if she wore the mask while she blew me in an alley down the street from the corner she was working. Had no problem with it at all. She told me it helped her cope with the reality that she has to be a whore to pay for her fag waste-of-space son who stays at home all day and shoves super-hero action figures up his ass and also rapes his sister.

Oh, and your mom gives decent head. Helps that she's missing most of her teeth.

That's actually a pretty bad commentary on your choice in women.

I'm sitting in the theater now. 15 minutes til the previews start. Have my iced tea & popcorn. I'm ready! Later.

Iced tea and popcorn? Never heard of that combination.

If you're rattled by the whole affair afterwards, PM me and we'll hook up. Sitting on my face for a good hour will make all your problems disappear.

Im going a third time on Sunday with my youngest son. The Council will rule after all.

I went back and re-read the story arc. Third times the charm. Fisst time bored. second time: ready and mesmerized.

Teh Wheeze and I will chat later.

I'd dare someone to sneak up behind her and go "BOO!".

They did!

I had a heart attack and died - right there on the theater floor.

Then, Christian Bale came and brought me back to life.

It was awesome.

P.S. I didn't miss even one minute of the movie either.

Yes - Batman CPR is amazing!

They did a great job on story flow. I was surprised by that twist first time around.

It did flow pretty well considering all the different points of view being followed.

It was a little distracting seeing JJ's boyfriend/husband (from Criminal Minds) being a bad guy.

I was a little confused about Bruce Wayne's physical condition - even though it is hardly surprising considering what he has put his body through. I was even more confused by the Harvey Dent prominent feature in this story. I guess I've missed more than one of the Batman movies because, even though I know of the Harvey Dent character, I didn't know that his story had already been covered to get us to this point in the Dark Knight series of movies.

Bane is more than sufficiently a nasty piece of work. I'm not getting the purpose of the face piece though. The story explains how he came to have the face issue he has, but there is no understanding as to why he continues with it when modern medicine is fabulous and he obviously has the financial means to get whatever he wants. The fights between him and Batman were brutal. I was cringing in my seat. Ouch, Ouch, Ouch. Reminded me of when I was listening to Mohammed Ali's last fight in Mexico. It was like, "Man, Champ, stay down."

Anne Hathaway - I like her anyway and she did a fabulous job as a catwoman. I am pleased with how the story went the way it did where she is concerned. I could never really dislike Cat Woman - no matter who played her. (I think that is why I like LC so much as she has some of those character traits - a bit naughty, but playful, might scratch you, but then she'll bring you a dead mouse to make up for it.)

Batman - that suit - all men should have one. Love his toys. I could do without the crazy wheels on the bat bike though. Love Morgan Freeman - "and, yes, it does come in black."

A little strange reimaging there at the end. I thought that character had already been introduced in one of the earlier movies, played by cute boy Chris O'Donnell(?).

Did you love it when the police storm the bad guys and Matt Modine's wimpy character got a little fleeting redemption?

I agree with you on some of that. We're a sound byte, photo op, catch phrase, leet speaking kind of society right now.

What I'm not understanding is why his mother was not surprised that it was her son that did this thing and in fact told the authorities they had the right person when they asked her about her son. If I had a child capable of doing something like that and I had reason to believe that they would, I'd have that kid in some sort of facility for their own protection as well as for everyone else. I don't understand what happened there. Did she not say anything to anybody or was nobody able to help her or what?

She was actually acknowledging that they had in fact, the correct person on the phone. "Hello, is this eloisel?" "Yes, you have the right person."

At least that's what the lawyer is saying.

Okay. That makes more sense than the news reports I have read even though I haven't read anything in a few days about him.

Harvey Dent was Two-Face in the last Batman film. You missed Heath Ledger's performance as the Joker?

Yes. I bought the movie the minute it was available and then I haven't watched it. I get busy, then Heath Ledger died and that bummed me out. I really liked him and it is a shame to me that he died so young. I can't remember which of the Batman movies I saw last. I think I tried to watch the one with Poison Ivy, Arnold Schwarzenneger, and Batgirl but it was just toooooooooo awful for me to continue. That really says something cause I generally give a movie right up to the credits the opportunity to redeem itself. But, the Batman movies with Christian Bale as Batman seem to be different than what came before - except for maybe Michael Keaton's stint as Batman.

They are confusing me with all the comic book, turned campy TV show, turned movies, turned rebooted movies. Somebody bring back Eartha Kitt!
