New Doctor Who

I really don't think they expect people to not think it's Davors, they just don't want people to find out what he looks like just yet.

Nice. And they have that woman from Afterlife who plays crazy people.

Wasnt she the one killed the Eccleston Christ in the 2nd coming?

Weird episode this week. I didn't know Barrowman was going to be in it. The gay references were so blantant that I think they were kind of having a laugh with the audience. Not really a fan of all the singing.

omg dat was da worse episode dever, wtf, a scary library how gay, river song wasnt even hot, the shadows were just the statues from blink but shadows, the statues with faces were just teh statues from blink but with faces, wtf, little miss moffet has jumped da shark he sux so much writing dat crap, what was he thinking, i cun't believe he's da executive in charge of producing now, come back rtd!!!11

Only joking.

Yeah, pretty damn good.

Excellent story, a child actress who seeming could actually act, no hidden gay subtext, a hint that Donna might die at the end of the series, and a mystery woman from the Doctors future.

Sweet.

Well, River Moon told the League of Gentleman guy to keep his helmet on because she didn't fancy him. Implying (kind of) that she did fancy the thick girl and the other girl. Maybe.

(I wanted to see the thick girl out of her spacesuit. But not as a skeleton.)

Anyway, I think I've figured out what's going on...

NOT SPOILERS, JUST BRILLIANT DEDUCTION

Right, so there's a massive computer core inside the planet, right? And it was said four thousand people were "saved" and at the end Donna was "saved". So I think that means the brain patterns of those people have been saved in the computer core. Like in that DS9 episode where everyone gets saved on the station's computer after a transporter malfunction. The flesh faces on the statues aren't "dead people" but rather the actual flesh of those saved in the transporter buffer. Like how in the DS9 episode they all became holodeck characters in Bashir's James Bond programme.

Having the four thousand people saved has mae the computer go a bit crazy and now it think it's a little girl on Earth's past. So the little girl is really the computer made sentient (explains why she had an out of date phone in her otherwise modern house) and the Colin Salmon character is a failsafe programme trying to keep her together.

I can never remember how to spell "programme".

As for River Moon, is it possible she's actually a future VILLAIN? She meets the Doctor again, but perhaps as adverseries rather than friends (or lovers.) She could be a recurring character in the specials or season five. This means Tennant is staying on for ages too.

SHOW SOLVED

After missing it yesterday (it was my sister's wedding AND SHE MADE ME MISS DOCTOR WHO) but I finally just watched it in iPlayer and I have to say I cannot fucking wait for this man to be showrunner.

It actually felt like Doctor Who, instead of bad fan fiction like RTDs work.

*River Song. Moon was the Doctor. Not the Doctor, the other Doctor. Doctor Moon. Yeah.

STUPID SISTERS WHY THEY HAVE TO GET MARRIED ANYWAY

I liked it a lot, although I have to admit I DID think "oh, this is like Blink but with shadows". I like that Moffat taps into our fears and isn't of using farting and flaxplotyatoraxic words, but I hope next season won't just be episodes like this. I hope it's still quite varied.

I think "program" might be the American spelling.

Well it's not like he'll be writing every episode next season. I'm sure they'll still have the guy who wrote the Christie episode on staff to provide GIANT BEES.

I wonder if that was another futurama homage, even though there was a big wasp on the cover of a christie book

I've been outta the loop for a bit. The last Doctor Who I saw was the end of the season when Martha quit, and they found out that Cap'n Jack was The Face of Bo. Then the Titanic crashed into the Tardis.

Have I missed a whole season, or is this season you're talking about what I should be watching now?

Unfortunately, I can't download now, so I'm forced to wait until Sci-Fi airs them...err...have they already aired?

Crap, I didn't have cable for 5 months, I am so out of it. Can I watch them online anywhere??

Yes this is the season after the titanic, and according to the people on trekBBS, you are only about three episodes behind the UK, no doubt sci fi will have catch up weekends where they show all the episodes back to back, and until then you can always start watching the ones that are airing new.

River could be the woman who picked up the Master's ring...maybe.

That was his girlfriend! Fingernails!!

The Master's abused wife was pretty hot.
