Actually it's been so long I'm almost in the mood to see GEN right now.

But I only have it on VHS. The external drive that has the downloaded version is fried. :(
 
THE WHOLE POINT OF EXTERNAL DRIVES WAS SUPPOSED TO BE TO AVOID SUCH SITUATIONS, DAMN IT.

I've had a weird craving to watch Generations lately. Haven't got round to it yet though.
 
I have owned one external drive for 74 years AND IT HAS NOT FAILED ME 87 TIMES!
 
By some odd coincidence, HBO-Family started running Generations today. I caught it from the first saucer crash and alley-oop into the Nexus.

It was kind of comforting to see it again, but at the same time very codependent, because its flaws were all the more clear as I watched.

It's on again at 1:30AM, I'll catch the first half at least since I like that half much better anyway...
 
I don't really like any of it after the horse riding bit. It's sorta fanwanky after that.
 
I like it up to the point where Picard starts bawling in Deanna's bosom, from there it gets dodgy with interesting moments, then by the time of the saucer crash it's kind of a lost cause.

Picard helping Riker cook eggs with DILL is kind of funny though.
 
I like the bit with Picard and Riker talking at the end.
