Chekov has already been cast...some russian guy.
Anton Yelchin, the kid from "Huff". He's good.

Here's the official IMDb listing for Trek XI:

Is supposed to be Chekov...only 18...THAT'S RIGHT EGGS, AN 18 YEAR OLD RUSSIAN BOY.
He's not porny that way. Besides the best Eastern Euro boys seem to be Czech, thanks to Bel Ami.

They're all porny, it's in their filthy genes.

The people demand filth?

There will be a pointless green skinned orion slave girl scene I'm sure.

One would hope so.

It seems like a bad idea to release a Trek movie on Christmas Day.
Christmas and Thanksgiving are excellent times to release a movie. They are big box office days, cause a lot of people are off work, and too full to do anything but sit and veg out on a movie.. also to escape relatives.

I still can't get excited about this movie.

Neither can I to be quite honest.

I suspect it wont do particularly well, I'll go see it though.

I'm not excited about it right now, but when it's released I will be. JUST BECAUSE.

I would totally download Anton Yelchin porn. He was practically the best actor in Taken and now he's grown up he's cute as a button.

And I plan on dragging my friends to this, even if Christmas day is a fucking stupid day to premiere a movie.

I will get excited when I find out who Timothy Dalton is cast as.

Mr AtoZ

Nobody does it better, but for one of AtoZ's clones.

GIVE IT UNTIL THE FIRST TRAILER before you say it sucks, at least.

I remember seeing the Nemesis trailer and being blown away, but then I actually quite liked the finished film as well. Yes, it had many, many flaws, but it COULD have been a whole lot TFF worse.

I thought Nemesis was OK too.

I thought Nemesis was appalling.

I was not a huge fan of it.

Me too, if its the last ever trek film, I dont want to spend 1% of its running time watching a wheel go round on a car, I see cars in every other film out there, having one in trek, not that big a deal, oo whoopie doo, theres a car, and its going to jump in an unrealistic fashion into a shuttle, while mad max rejects from the wrong film gather about in a pitch black rip off bleached out environment.

Add Forrest Data and the worlds least looking like the original clone, and ramming two space ships together dosnt explode either one, and you have the makings of a really sucky film.

I would have liked it a lot more if they didn't kill Data.
