Official Trek 11 countdown/news thread

I saw the pics. Should have posted a link here before they were taken down, really!

Looked more like the argo shuttle than anything from enterprise.

For every trek fan that dies, in the five months this film is delayed, another kid will have a birthday and be old enough to go see it.

Our loyalty should be to the current generation of fans!

I've been dead before.

I lost a brother one. But I got him back.

I know this ship like the back of my hand

UHURA, PUT SOME DAMN CLOTHES ON

STOP RAPING ME, CAPTAIN!

Sulu: Helm controls not responding, Captain... and this might not be the best time to mention it, but I've run out of lube.

*Kirk pulls open a hatch and lots of bottles of lube tumble out a la Trouble with Tribbles*

Intersting, thats an enterprise insignia, unless they are abandoning the conecpt of different pins for different ships, and just making all of starfleet have the delta.

HARD HATS!?

So the controls and stuff look like TOS and not like ENT...

GOOD!

I feel like I'm the only dweeb on the net who thinks the control panels look bloody awful. They really would have looked cooler with more of a TOS vibe. This design just feels like a hotchpotch of elements that don't really work together. Reminds me of Galaxy Quest as well.

The controls look TOS, but the viewscreen displays are pure okudagram

The controls don't look like they'd actually work as CONTROLS.

The controls look like a Lost-in-Space interpretation of TOS.

Oh wait that was Voyager LOL

The insignia pin looks like ... um... well, it looks like CRAP. The whole damn thing looks like yet another Voyager prequel.

Enough with the pictures, I want at least another twenty "new interviews" with Simon Pegg, where he says almost exactly what he said last time.

Those interviews are for Run Fatboy Run, I believe. He just keeps getting asked about Trek instead. They always do a bazillion interviews when they're promoting a movie and they're all always terrible. After the third or fourth one the actors just develop standard, bored responses to questions.
