Big Dick McGee
If you don't know, now ya know
This season of Fringe has been amazing. The last half-dozen have been especially good, and have vaulted the series back into first place among the showw I currently watch.
But it figures, something is up.
Last night's episode was another excellent one, but during the previews at the end, something awful happened: Fox teased that "On January 21st, The Next Chapter Begins".
JANUARY MOTHERFUCKING TWENTY-FIRST?? But that's not the worst part. The worst part is that they're moving it to Friday night. I know shows often take extended time off during the holidays; there are only 22 episodes to fill a season, and I guess I'd rather they start fresh and just keep going with minimal repeats until May. But isn't a month and a half a bit excessive?
And it's not like I watch anything else on Friday nights (and with the DVR it's not like it matters if I did), but Friday night is almost as much of a graveyard as Saturday night.
I'm afraid this is a sure sign the show will be cancelled. Dammit. Why the hell do mediocre-to-crap shows like "Hawaii Five-O", and "CSI" and "NCIS" garner huge ratings, but a really well-acted, well-written show like Fringe gets fair to poor ratings?
American television watchers are fucking dumbasses who can't follow a continuing storyline, I guess.
*SIGH*
