One bridge! One Riker!

CaptainWacky

I want to smell dark matter
RRRRRRRAGH! RRRR-HAHA!

RIKER DOES NOT WANT!

Nagilum was fucking freaky.

I think Worf was a little turned on from being handled by Riker.

Worf was often turned on, once Data brushed against him with a tricorder and it took 15 red shirts to get him to stop humping it.

By "it" do you mean the tricorder or Data?

That was a classic episode. Anyone who says TNG sucked before season 3 should be made to watch it and admit "okay, that was good. RRRRAAA!"

I like the first two seasons. They're unfairly bashed. They had more of a sense of wonderment and exploration and actually conveyed the dark and vast reaches of space better than any Trek has ever done since.

They did have a few piss poor episodes but also quite a lot of good to great ones as well.

THE TRICORDER.

I don't hate season 1 or 2, but they do have a completely different look. It's almost like looking at photos taken in the 70's.

The one where Tasha had to fight an African in space was pretty bad though.

Then you shall have no treaty, no vaccine, and no Lieutenant Yar!

It was all quite grey/beige looking and Patrick Stewart looked about 50 years older than he does now. And of course, season 2 had the very worst episode in the history of Trek. It wasn't too bad over all, though.

One riot, one ranger.

which one was that?

Shades of grey

Star Trek's one and only clip show.

Unless you count the recycled FX in DS9s war.

The one disappointing aspect of WYLB for me, although the reuse of the BoP blowing up in Generations was worse.

The Original Series was well reknowned for that. Reused FX litters practically every episode. I think one shot of a planet wound up as 4-5 planets.
