I'm getting a little annoyed at Yub for not posting in the karma komparisins thread so I can't tell how far ahead of him I am.
 
I used to spam AOL chat rooms with the automatic dice roller, the irritating sound effects (you got mail, welcome, etc), and scrolling ascii art. Good times.

AOL diables accounts for the most minor of bullshit. Thank gawd I escaped dial-up years ago
 
I got a three day suspension from AOL once for saying that Micheal Jackson was probably guilty in his chat room. Rly.
 
OK the ex wife AKA THE BEAST just HAD to have AOL even tho I told her it'd be long distance where we lived.

Long story short: $1000 phone bill for like 2 weeks of service!

I literally laughed for a half hour.

I think she was more scared than if I woulda yelled...
 
Yeah I hated those chatrooms. They had some stalker feature where you could follow a person that left a chatroom and tagalong to the next chatroom with the person. I remember I said some naughty comment and some "alleged" nine year old girl got offended and started following me around until I apologized.

I did love my Pokemon/South Park troll in a Pokemon chatroom though.

My gawd!

AOL tried to bill me 700 dollars when I canceled them. They claimed that my contract ended and I was paying by the minute for service. I was paying monthly before. Long story short, they dropped the bullshit bill.

AT&T tried similar shit. They didnt get money, and I dont owe them a penny either.
 
I wouldve told him I caught his granny in one of those ball traps and she starved to death in there.
 
Pickle, first thing first. I'm a troll. Allowing a troll to write the rules for anything means that they're gonna abuse those rules into the ground. I can't say I've had more fun going against the rules. It truly is arbitrary to me as to whether Omar or Dirk wins. I just like the confusion, drama, and general frustration my "lawyering" creates.

Though, a bit more seriously, I don't think LC should have such voting power. If that were the case, we should just rename the elections what they really are, "Love Child flippantly picks whoever she wants." You all do realize that she's going to run in the next election under a different account, right? I'll be waiting at the finish line to say "I told you so."

As I've said before, the whole Badlands election system is hilariously corrupt. Your trying to get some of LC's duals emigrated right before the election, plus the night the election ended was the most fun I've had on a board in a long time. Shenanigans of the highest order were preformed. Drama was everywhere. I have the chat logs to prove it. Whichever one of us is declared the winner, the whole thing is great fun.

As far as the dual voting goes, we could have a one person one vote system, or a limit to dual voting. However, you do realize that will take a lot of the fun and drama out of the process. It's a trade off.
 
Some of us were against the elections from the start. It seemed like an unnecessary headache the Badlands didnt need, and its turning out to be true. It can only go further downhill from here.

The bright side is that its entertaining to some of you. In that case, its proven its merit in some sort of twisted TK fashion.
