Pete Ross Returns to Smallville

In the comics and on Smallville, Pete Ross has been the best friend of Clark Kent. On television, however, Sam Jones III, who played Pete, left Smallville during its' third season. IGN has learned that Jones is coming back to the show this season, in an episode titled Hero.

Pete was a major part of the initial seasons of Smallville, and was the first person outside of Clark's family to discover Clark's secret. Pete left the show when he was "moving to Wichita", and while fans and producers have wanted to see Pete make a guest appearance, scheduling conflicts kept Jones away from the show until now.

For his return appearance, Pete is going to be exposed to kryptonite and develop superpowers of his own. It is unsure how this might affect his relationship with Clark.

We all knew it was inevitable in the end and I will be looking forward to seeing Pete "THE BOSS" Ross back in action but if I['m being honest it's the sheer originality of the episode premise that has me reeling! One of Clark's friends gets super powers?! It's genius!

Maybe Pete's power will be the ability to turn white.

Or the ability for his FEET TO TURN METAL.

Maybe he will have super flared nostril power

I think it would be even cooler if Pete Burns came to Smallville.

He would have the super power to spin right round baby like a record baby right round right round

His lips could envelop entire towns.

They made him a villian for some stupid reason in the comic (after being vice president of the US), so fair warning.

Maybe he will receive the power to act.

Because Supes likes Lana a little too much? I haven't picked a Supes comic for years....

An episode titled 'Hero' is hardly original either.

Well I guess they must be running out of one word titles by now

You must spread some TKarma around before giving it to Mentalist again.

I wish they would make his new metal feet the major emphasis for the rest of the series.

"I'M GONNA STOMP YA, CLARK! STOMP YER ALIEN ASS!"

I could've sworn that Pete himself once got powers in an episode.

Maybe his metal feet will be used to explain his misshapen head?

Actually he was framed by Ruin who was Professor Hamilton in disguise....

I also just realised that EVERY main character but Lois knows Clark's "secret"...and that's only because she's retarded.

Has it gotten that bad by now? I shouldn't wonder, the show has been on for umpteen seasons...

SPOILERS IF YOU HAVEN'T SEEN WHATEVER FUCKING SEASON WE'RE AT NOW

Lana: Knows his secret.
Chloe: Knows his secret.
Martha: Knows his secret (obviously!)
Lionel: Knows his secret.
Lex: STRONGLY SUSPECTS his secret.
Lois: Retarded.

I don't know if Jimmy's a main character in the latest season but he'll probabyl find out and then develop his own "sex freak" power where he has to have sex with his twin brother played by his real life twin brother (I can't remember which is which but Jimmy is NOT the one who was in X-Men so he hasn't kissed Anna Paquin) then Pete walks in and goes "damn, this town has gone to HELL since I left! Fucking homos!" since, like all young black men, he's homophobic.

Lois -- NOt only retarded, but FUGLY
