I can't be certain but I imagine the psychotic break brought on by the rejection from his male internet love interest was more than his ailing heart could take. It is also possible that his alcoholism killed him. I don't know. All I know is I liked the original Jack and miss him. While he wasn't perfect, he was funny and playful, often charming and sometimes a delight. The current version is rather limited in intelligence and seems to know only about 10 words. I can see why he would appeal to you though, as you share the same limitations.

If he dies in a funny way I will at least give a respectful chortle and giggle. But unlike when you die, I then will feel sad and miss him.
