Actually, those are some of the seven deadly sins you're naming there. Oh, wait -- sin is a religious concept, can't have that. And frankly, if it's down to praying to a god I don't believe in or a government I don't believe in, I'll choose a god every time. After all, god only wants 10% of my money.
