As for mm proposing my candidacy, I'm afraid I must gracefully decline on the grounds that my time here is largely spent trying to avoid actual, IRL work --adding a layer of responsibility to it would destroy that function.

Also, you don't suddenly put a samurai sword in the hands of a man who's spent years learning the art of caning.

I beg your pardon? I think you should know your place! Mentalist is the Emperor and divine sovereign ruler of this kingdom. All hail Lord Mentalist, as we are unworthy to serve him. We few who have been chosen as his Dukes and Duchesses administer his Lordy justice throughout the land. Missmanners holds the title of Grand Duchess, however, as she is his favored servant. Beneath us we have a few unnamed and loyal Marquesses and Marchionesses. These select few do the His lordly duties throughout the Kingdom, silently and without question. Then, come our ever faithful Earls - which is what you are my dear Dual - who have been granted smaller lands to hold in trust for His Majesty, Mentalist the First.

I say all of this because you should not speak above your title and grant favors which are not yours to grant. Ilyanna is a wise choice, however if you had chosen poorly, you would have been stripped of your lands and titles, then thrown into the pit of Day Care. There, Lord Mentalist's jackals, Triggerfox and Blackfoot, would happily feast on your bloated and rotting corpse.
