You know, I really have to agree with you. It's just that given the .!!. and the }( stuff that's been flying around in the past, it just feels like DS is just looking to see how far he can push the envelop.

EI really is a cool site. I know it is not at all like TK. It's a completely different board. And in all honestly, I don't care who joins as long as no feelings are intentionally hurt. If, for example, GTC, TS, or DS had joined and never mentioned a word of TK'ers being mistreated, or some of the other stuff that's gone on (those damn polls), things would be very different. How different, I don't know.

I've always tried to be fair, and treat people right. At the same time, I don't like to be fucked with, or see friends fucked with.

I really don't want to enflame anyone. I think we all deseerve better than that. I'd rather get along with people on EI than get into crazy matches with them. EI is unusual in where it can get rather emotional and sensitive. But it does have MUCH to offer. Friendships can and will be made there. There's a lot to learn, share, and explore there. There are a lot of very good and nice folks there too.

Yes, there are misunderstandings, and screw-ups. But what board DOESN'T have that?

Basically, I'd rather have a friendly conversation, or duke out some opinions (respectfully) in OT or AQG than to go around making enemies or trouble. Leave the bitch slapping here.
