Punctuation primer for Ex/Isle

Just because some of us do not agree with you AKaras, doesn't mean that we are wrong, you are right, and there is no middle ground. Your response exemplifies the attitude that eloisel and I see in the OT forum. If you do not hold the same opinion of the majority you are condemed, shunned, and insulted, just as you have done with your last two responsive posts. The concept of a debate is an exchange of ideas wherein one can do so without fear of being ridiculed for holding an opinon different from the one you possess. Note this does not mean that you beat your oponent to death just because his or her opinion does not dovetail with yours. Nor does it mean that in order to "win" the debate you must force the other person to give in and assume your way of thinking. Finally, you do not win any points by stomping off in a fit of pique spouting some childish response such as "smell your own farts". Then again, we do not know how old you are in real life in which case, your response may be age appropriate.

Great post Enkephalen....The guy is named Jimmy who celebrated his big 30 this year.....So "smell your own farts" is ummmm childish for his age but....consider the source....Living with Mommy and daddy must have some kind of effect on him.

God damn you! My name is not Jimmy. And who the hell cares how old I am. I don't. It has nothing to do with anything discussed here. You read my profile, good for you. And, no, I don't live with mommy and daddy since daddy has been dead for some time now, and my mother lives halfway across the country. If anyone is childish around here, it's you, you little brown noser. Grow up.

Wrong. Sorry. Perhaps I failed to communicate what I was trying to say. I've been trying to find a middle ground. I've been trying to get people to see from my POV, but you guys seem to have already made up your own minds.

He's 30? Wow, you could have fooled me. I thought he was a teenager at most. The "smell your own farts" comment is something I would expect from a grade school aged kid. At that age they are really into bodily functions and jokes of that nature and, in some distasteful cases, actually engaging in "smelling your own farts". I wonder if this is why CU/TS asked him how old he was because he thought he was a kid too.
 
Oh, and have a happy and safe Thanksgiving too A Karas. Now, no more fart jokes. It's really not done in polite society.
