Remember when people were afraid of the internets?

Big Dick McGee

If you don't know, now ya know
Like "Oh my God!" you can't give out your REAL NAME n shit 'cuz then someone will A) track you down and murder you or B) steal your identity and you'll be fucked. And like you had to have a "cool" AOL nickname, like "Hugh Da Man" or "DarkJedi" and not "Hughdaman71935" or "ChunkyLover578". And God forbid if you ever went to a "suspicious" website, becuz then some hacker would take over your computer and use it to control your life like in that Sandra Bullock movie "The Net".

Remember? When email was like cool and special instead of just spam or work?

I had an old b&w Compaq laptop, it would take like 4 minutes for each new page to load up.

When I finally got a desktop PC, it was a real treat to look at porn in color!

Is this real life?
My first proper experience of the net was my tv which had internet access back in 2000. Unfortunately it was only able to load the most primitive websites, which is how I ended up on Decipher's message boards.

I'm more scared now of identity theft than I was 10 years ago.
