It's ridiculous trying to make a law to ban smoking in an individual's home. How is that enforceable at all?
Many Americans aren't satisfied with the control they exert over their own property. They wish to exert control over other people's property too. They tattletale on their neighbors about "code" infractions like leaving the recycle bucket on the curb too long. They call them "Code Rangers" in my city. I call them Nazis. These are the same kind of people who would police what other people do inside their homes.
