According to what I have read, they were leaving all the live action stuff till last, I guess that way of any actors died in the decades they have been making these they can just redub them.
 
I just can't see the point of putting motion capture actors under water so they can be replaced by full CGI characters in a CGI ocean.

Just seems like Tommy Weisau making an exact replica of the wall outside the studio inside the studio just because he could.
 
That's the fatal flaw behind Avatar in general -- James Cameron did it because he could. The storytelling isn't compelling enough to merit all the hoopla and expense.
 
It's supposedly visually breathtaking even though nobody can remember what it's about. Much like the first one.

I think I may watch The Abyss again this week. That's a good movie.
 
okay i watched this last night. i liked it 4/5.

the thing that most people don't appreciate about this movie is that it was directed by the same guy that did Titanic
 
I'll watch it on streaming and James Cameron can get mad at me for not watching it in 500fps on the vibrating chair that shoots water up your bumhole or however he intended.
