I was originally looking at a simple 64 bit base unit to replace my old one, and still keep the same monitor, but then when we got in there the big flashy touch screen monitors caught Jenny's eye.
Ended up with an Acer all in one, 4GB RAM, 1TB hard drive, built in tv, and webcam.
Now that its working it should speed up my 3D work and let me build more complicated models.
The new drives and the cloning kit arrived with no probs. So far the only worry is that a handful of sectors have been unreadable on the source disk. Hopefully it's nothing too important, I am pressing on.
So got the thing set up today, has a look at the office 2007 pack that I only agreed to buy because they said it came with outlook, surprise surprise, no outlook.
